Letters in the Dark are currently 6-month subscriptions, as opposed to a 12-month subscription. We know some folks have commitment issues, no judgment, so 6 months is a bit more appealing than 12. But never say never – if we get the itch for a year-long haunted tale, we’ll make that happen.
Your welcome letter will be mailed out 3-5 days after you join, and before the first story letter. Please know that international subscriptions will take longer to arrive.
The story letters are sent out in the second and fourth weeks of every month. It’s snail mail, so that means you should receive your letters in a “timely fashion.”
Letters in the Dark curates each letter to be an experience. You may find things to smell, touch, or hear, as well as recipes or treats to taste, all of which represent the letter’s story.
We love trees. And we love paper. So, we do our best to use sustainably sourced or recycled paper for the bulk of our mailings.
Absolutely. Subscriptions can be canceled, but we do not offer refunds for letters that have already been sent. If you cancel your paid-in-full subscription, you will be prorated for the remaining letters.
We will not auto-renew your subscription at the end of the 6 months, but you are automatically enrolled in the First to Know, so we will send you a pre-sale and an offer for the next story.
