What Makes Letters In The Dark different from other letter subscriptions.
Letters In the Dark are currently 6-month subscriptions, 12 letters/chapters, and 14 letters total. As opposed to a 12-month subscription. We thought we’d do something a little different for folks who like to get to the juicy bits quickly.
When can I expect my frst letter?
Your welcome letter will be mailed out 3–5 days after you join, and before the first “Chapter Letter” is sent.
How often do the letters come?
The story letters are sent out the second and fourth weeks of every month. It’s snail mail so that means you should receive your letters in the second and fourth week of each month.
Can I cancel?
Absolutely. Subscriptions can be cancelled, but we do not offer refunds on sent letters. If you cancel your paid-in-full subscription, you will be prorated for the remaining letters.
What are the subscription options?
Currently, the subscription is pay in full for your 6 months and 14 letters. Monthly payments are in the works for the future.
Will my subscription auto-renew to the next story?
We will not auto-renew your subscription at the end of the 6 months, but we will send you a reminder and an offer for the next story.

Where Do Letters In The Dark Come From?
Since 2015, Gretchen has written dozens of ghost tours for multiple tour companies in America’s most haunted cities. Her work has led curious souls through haunted alleys in the South, windswept graveyards in New England, and crumbling asylums in the Midwest.
Influenced by legends and ghosts, she began to grow her catalog of original short stories, some more real than fiction. Now it’s time t share her work. Inspired by her fond memories of pen pals, passing secret notes in between classes, and the quiet thrill of receiving something mysterious in the mail, she created Letters In The Dark – a storytelling experience that blends her love of the paranormal with the lost art of letter writing.
